and /or

Tackle inequalities and/or

Encourage previously disengaged members to take up sports or

physical exercise

Funding is for projects that will run from the end of November 2021 to the end of March 2022. Although the Fund is not restricted to a particular type of project, this funding will particularly suit organisations that wish to try a pilot to gauge interest or run a short-term project to provide the evidence to raise more funding.

We are looking for projects that will develop or run creative, community-based sports or physical activities that will encourage engagement and build the well-being of those who face disadvantages, are isolated or marginalised.

Activities can be anything that encourages physical exercise from communal walks to paintballing to sports like football or tennis.

Deadline for applications is Monday, 1 st November by 5.00 pm. Successful grant applicants will receive funds by the end of November and must complete projects by March 2022. The application is a two-tier process.

V4CE assesses applications to select a recommended list, and Sport England officers make the final decision to approve a proposal.

Successful applicants can also choose to receive free training and one-to-one advisory support from Voice4Change England to help build organisational sustainability and development, including help with fundraising.
