Speakers will include children and young people, parents, community, faith and voluntary group representatives. In taking forward our Communities Against Violence network the Race Equality Foundation intend to encourage a collaborative response by black and minority ethnic voluntary organisations to the August disturbances.
The event
The aim of the conference is to gather different perspectives on the events to:
Hear from a range of voices
Explore the implications for race equality of the August riots
Understand what needs to be done to progress race equality
