Missing People

Missing People is a national and independent charity, offering a lifeline when someone disappears. We are currently recruiting for a new trustee.

If you are a proven board-level leader, respected within your professional networks and you are willing to engage with either our fundraising or influencing work then you may be who we are looking for.

We are a high profile organisation and receive nearly 100,000 calls to our helplines each year. However, 250,000 people go missing each year and many of those affected do not currently have access to our services. Missing People is therefore looking to appoint a number of new Trustees to its board who can help us to achieve significant growth.

Missing People’s Trustee Board works together with the Chief Executive to ensure that the charity has the highest standards of governance and leadership. Applications are welcome from all areas of the United Kingdom, from all communities and from a range of skills and experience.

For an informal discussion about the role of Trustee, contact the Chief Executive’s office on 020 8392 4503.

  1. Closing date: Friday 30th September 2011

  2. Interviews: W/C 10th October 2011
