We are excited to share the highlights from our recent workshop series, which has just concluded. This engaging program was designed to explore three key themes: project management, social media strategies, and the effective use of AI in fundraising. Our goal was to empower participants with practical skills and insights that they can apply in their work.
"Robust and useful information and demonstration."
We had a fantastic turnout where we delved into the principles of writing effective prompts for AI tools. In our initial series of three workshops, we welcomed 64 participants. In the subsequent series, we had 26 attendees. Overall, across five sessions, we engaged 90 participants. Our interactive exercises challenged participants to distinguish between AI-generated and human-written text, a crucial skill for crafting compelling funding applications.
“Excellent training. I am excited to use AI.”
The practical demonstrations introduced five innovative AI platforms tailored to enhance fundraising efforts. Participants learned about two AI tools focused on grant writing—Plinth and Grantable—along with Chart Pixel for generating insights and visualisations. We also showcased Heygen and Synthesia, which allow users to create AI avatar videos to support their fundraising campaigns. All platforms offer free versions, enabling attendees to explore and utilise these resources to their advantage.
"The workshop gave me confidence to try [A.I] as I was a bit sceptical about how much it would help."
We look forward to seeing how our participants apply these new skills and insights in their organisations. Thank you to everyone who joined us!
